Launched in January, 2025, North Star Stories aims to address the significant need for coverage of the communities and experiences currently absent from the state’s news ecosystem.
Stories are voiced, sourced, and reported by members of the communities covered, including Black, Latine, Asian American, East African individuals, people living with disabilities, LGBTQIA2S+ residents, laborers, veterans, and those from Greater Minnesota.
