Live from Studio A: Stardust Collective

Duluth’s first live, in-person Homegrown Music Festival since 2019 kicked off on May 1, 2022 and we gave you a preview when Stardust Collective, one of the scheduled opening-night bands, joined us in the studio on April 29. The group, featuring songwriter, guitarist, and lead vocalist Aaron Tank, drummer Amy Ugstad, bassist Eric Bong, and keyboard and violin player Shawna Weaver, uses harmonies and unusual song structures to craft its alternative rock sound.

Pine to Prairie Fiber Arts Trail in Bemidji, April 8-10th

The fiber arts are trending! There have been many workshops and festivals and exhibitions across northern Minnesota these last couple of months, and now fiber artists in the area are getting ready for the first “Pine to Prairie Fiber Arts Trail Weekend.” Jennifer Wilder is the founder of the Midwest Fiber Arts Trails, the organization behind the Fiber Arts Trail Weekend. She visited the KBXE studio along with Eve Sumsky, an area basket weaver, whose studio will be one of the stopping points on the studio tour.

Ghost Stories with Taff Roberts
