The World of Natural Competitive Body Building – Part 2

On this episode of Culture Clique, we continue our look into the World of Natural Competitive Body Building. Last time we visited with competitors, personal trainers and a show organizer to learn the ins and outs of nutrition, exercise, and planning that goes into participating in the sport. On this episode, we examine the preparations that happen outside of the gym and the kitchen. Athletes need a perfect tan to show off muscle definition underneath the bright stage lights. The women need appropriate makeup to have their facial features seen from a distance without being washed out, and every competitor needs to know how to present their hard work with the appropriate poses that enable the individual to exhibit poise, fluidity and confidence in front of the judges. We visit with professionals in the sport that help competitors in these areas during the North American Natural Bodybuilding Federation Northern States Natural Classic Pro-Qualifier in Elk River MN.
