The Untold Story of Project 37

In today’s Untold Story of Central Minnesota, Arts & Cultural Heritage Producer Jeff Carmack visits with Anna Bovitz, Syd Terry, and Cameron Brandon from Project 37, an organization focused on providing All-Ages music opportunities throughout the community. Currently, Project 37 does not have a physical location to host shows, but that has not stopped the music. Their All-Ages, Safe & Sober shows have not only taken over numerous local restaurants but also various business and even homes. Steiger: Minnesota’s Big Lime Green Tractor

The Steiger Tractor Company was founded in the 1950s by brothers Douglass and Maurice Steiger, who farmed near Red Lake Falls, Minnesota. The brothers, along with their dad, John, first built a tractor for their own use. The machines they created became the basis for a successful manufacturing business, which was acquired by Case IH in 1986. MaJeana Steiger Hallstrom spoke to Courtney Skjerven’s STEM class at Challenger Elementary School in Thief River Falls.
