The Untold Story of the Chris Koza Musical Residency through the Paramount Center for the Arts

In today’s Untold Story of Central Minnesota, Arts & Cultural Heritage Producer Jeff Carmack sits down with Minneapolis musician Chris Koza for an in-studio chat and performance, the Untold Story’s first since March of 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic.

Koza is in town as part of a Legacy funded artist residency and has been teaching the art of songwriting and creativity to students from SCSU, Sartell High School, the Boys & Girls Clubs, and the Wirth Center for the Arts. The residency caps off with Chris Koza’s performance at the Paramount Center for the Arts Friday, February 11 at 7:30pm.

On Wednesday, December 15th, 2021, the weather outside the Pioneer Place on Fifth Theater was frightful, but the jolly inside was delightful as the Granite City Radio Theater Season 10 Episode 2 put a fresh layer of happy onto the holidays!

Special Musical Guests jazz pianist George Maurer and vocalist Judi Vinar joined house band Collective Unconscious for some amazing new original compositions.

Things got stranger and stranger for the Shade’s Brigade crew.

Wild Scholastica brought us a greater understanding of the plight of the “Snow Day.” Our average, everyday Central Minnesotaricans may or may not have passed The Marshmallow Test. And, of course, SuccessCo showed us the underlying humor to be found within predatory capitalism.
