Minnesota is known for it’s nice-ness, but a recent survey showed that’s not true. The number of people who report experiencing discrimination in Minnesota is the areas of policing, employment and housing. Our guest this week, Craig Helmstetter (our first white guest!) joins us to go over the results of the survey.


Pavel Jany Returns to His Jazz Rock Roots

A few years ago, guitarist Pavel Jany received a Minnesota State Arts Board grant to create a new CD and play some concerts. But then came the pandemic. The CD is finally here Pavel told Phil Nusbaum, that because of the pandemic, the titles of some of the pieces have added meaning.

First Friday Arts – November
