The Untold Story of University Archivist Tom Steman and National Archive Month

In today’s Untold Story of Central Minnesota, Arts & Cultural Heritage Producer Jeff Carmack visits with St. Cloud State University Archivist Tom Steman. Located on the top floor of the Miller Learning Resource Center, the University Archives hosts and provides access to an amazing depth of historic material. In today’s conversation, Tom talks about newly digitized video of U.S. President Eisenhower crowning Homecoming Princess Joyce Pearson in 1952, the truth behind rumors of ghost stories around campus, the World War II Oral History Project, and many other historical tidbits as we celebrate National Archive Month in October.

This program was made possible through funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
