What We’re Reading producer and Staff Librarian Tammy Bobrowsky talks with young adult writer Bill Konigsberg about his new novel “The Bridge.” The story features two teenagers, strangers to each other, who have decided to jump from the same bridge at the same time. It’s told in alternate narratives, allowing the reader to see the different ways the teenagers lives’ could have play out.
Artists are well-known for coming up with great solutions to challenging problems. That’s what creative minds do. The Watermark Art Center in Bemidji has repositioned itself this holiday season in order to best serve the public with quality arts access, support regional artists in their quest to sell work, and give back to the community. Executive Director Lori Forshee-Donnay spoke on the morning show about how the annual It’s Only Clay exhibit looks different this year, how there is more art than ever available for purchase at the Watermark, how shopping adjustments and alternatives are helping patrons, and how the Watermark is raising money for the Bemidji Community Food Shelf via art.
