AMPERS – VARIETY OF ROLES – (FREELANCE/CONTRACT)

We are proud of the work we do and wouldn’t be successful without committed producers and editors, who are embedded in community, and have the passion to share stories from underrepresented communities. We are a growing organization and are always looking for good talent – on a contract/freelance* and project basis, including:

  • Producers & Reporters to, among other duties, research, write, edit, and produce radio segments, including conducting interviews to be used in segments and finding and incorporating relevant sound elements to make segments more interesting and entertaining.
  • Audio Editors to, among other duties, record, edit and, when needed, produce radio segments;
  • Project Coordinators who have experience in organization, scheduling, and leading a team in radio production.

We accept freelances on an ongoing basis. If you’re interested in being added to our roster of freelancers, please send an email with three work samples and a resume to our Vice President of Programming, Hlee Lee-Kron at hlee@ampers.org.

* Freelancers must have access to their own recording/editing equipment. Due to the nature of our funding and work, freelancers should be Minnesota-based.
