Social commentary is not foreign to Prøve Gallery shows, and their new exhibit brings a fresh voice inviting the audience to examine their cultural constructs and social discomfort that create and sustain disparity and inequality. Duluth Artist Carla Hamilton returns to the space with a solo show called “Minnesota Nice” with college, film and more. Seek out this experiential exhibit to discover how commonalities and differences mold your social norms, assumptions and assess your “Minnesota Nice.” Carla Hamilton's work is at Prøve Gallery from July 27 - September 14, 2018, with an opening reception on Friday, July 27th, from 7-10 p.m. Prøve Gallery is located at 21 N Lake Ave in Duluth.
