The Twin Cities are often cited as having one of the best public park systems in the country, and that’s thanks in large part to Theodore Wirth. From 1904 to 1934, the Swiss-born landscaper served as the Superintendent of Parks in Minneapolis. As producer Sam Radwany reports, his work and philosophies helped define the park system today.
