Coya Knutson made history as the first woman from Minnesota to serve in Washington. But, as MN90 producer Marisa Helms reports, Knutson’s estranged husband and a coterie of political rivals conspired against her. They wrote the infamous “Coya come home!” letter, which caused Knutson to lose re-election and return to Oklee, Minnesota.
