What we do
The Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations (AMPERS) is the largest statewide association of community radio stations in the United States. We support our stations through revenue generation, training, member convenings, and original news, arts, and culture programming.
Each of our member stations is independent and locally run by and for the local communities they serve. Four stations are affiliated with tribal nations. Six stations are licensed to educational institutions. Collectively, AMPERS stations carry programming in eleven different languages!
The Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations (AMPERS) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. EIN: 41-1388406
AMPERS is not affiliated with nor does it receive funding from Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) or Twin Cities Public Television (TPT).

Our mission
To help our member stations serve their diverse communities by generating revenue, developing and sharing programming, and actively working to change the narrative regarding historically underrepresented communities through accurate storytelling and reporting.
