This is Minnesota's Legacy, a look at the organizations and the people who have benefited from Minnesota's Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment.
Julie Censullo: 125 Live in Rochester describes itself as a center for active adults.
Robin Hoelzle: It is social activities, fitness activities and everything in between.
Julie Censullo: That's Robin Hoelzle. She's the program manager at 125 Live, and when Robin says everything in between, she means it.
Robin Hoelzle: From playing billiards in the billiards room to having a pottery studio where you can come and create pieces.
Julie Censullo: Thanks to support from the Legacy Fund, 125 Live is currently producing a monthly concert series. The facility is open to adults of all ages, but their main demographic is adults over the age of 65, many of whom are on a fixed income.
Robin Hoelzle: So being able to allow them to have a concert that is high caliber with great musicians, but then also being able to do maybe a meal with it as well, that we can create a whole evening entertainment for them that fits their budget.
Julie Censullo: On a recent Friday night, 125 Live member Jane Foote played guitar for her community.
Robin Hoelzle: The best feedback we get is that they're returning every time and they're growing.
