Astronomy in the Parks with Jennifer Anderson

Vincent van Gogh once said, “I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of stars makes me dream,” and I would have to agree with van Gogh. The night sky is a treasure that we can all enjoy, as long as you can get out of the city lights, and today on Culture Clique Professor Jennifer Anderson tells us how we can do just that this weekend. Jennifer is leading an event called Astronomy in the Parks this Saturday evening in Merrick State Park near Fountain City, WI. The event kicks off at 7pm but feel free to come early as Jennifer has some fun facts and activities involving the sun as it sets as well! I’m Bill Stoneberg, asking you to look up! as we talk stars and the night sky with Professor Jennifer Anderson, on Culture Clique. Original air date: 08/25/22 Culture Clique is written and produced by KQAL FM on the campus of Winona State University and is made possible by a grant from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
