Stonebridge Singers Drum Group

The Stonebridge Singers Drum is a group of young men from the Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. The group includes John Vogel, Trevor Deschampe, Marcus Logan, Brent Sorenson and Dylan Deschampe. They practice three times a week and travel often to perform at pow wows and other events. In this interview, they join WTIP North Shore Community Radio’s Youth Radio Project in studio to talk about how they created the group, why they started singing, and why they enjoy taking part in the group and learning more about their culture.
