Our History: The Journey of Chagobay and Brunia – Ten-part series

Minnesota Arts, Culture and History | History | Northern Community Radio – KAXE & KBXE
The places near water we treasure now were just as special to the people before us. Producers Brian Whittemore and John Sumption take us on a ten-part trip along the waterways and portages from Crow Wing to Leech Lake. The series tells the story of when French geographer, Joseph Nicollet, traveled this route with his Ojibwe guides, Chagobay and Brunia in 1836. This feature is presented here as a ten-part series. It is also available as solid hour.
