Jan Sherman is a Minnesota singer and musician who was part of the country music scene starting in the 1950s through the ’90s. She’s written a wonderful memoir about her experiences called “Tales of a Country Showgirl.” Jan joined Ann on The Roadhouse to tell us more.

He joined the morning show to discuss the progress and promise of the Red Lake Solar Project and he explained how it’s a modern day progression of traditional Ojibwe culture and tradition.
This week on Minnesota Music notes Brett Carter features Minnesota singer songwriter John Magnuson. John Magnuson released Barely Noticeable, a 13 song album in November of 2020. As part of his musical journey, Magnuson played guitar with Twin Cities band The Carpetbaggers when they toured with Son Volt and shared stage with bands like Los Lobos, Alison Krauss and the Gear Daddies.
