Pat, who is going on 107 years old, says she was surprised that her difficulty breathing was caused by a heart problem, not her lungs.
This fall Radio Gallery is in the field speaking with Minnesota artists in their own spaces, at shows, galleries and in their own studios. This week we will be talking with St. Paul painter, T. Young, who broke into the art scene in the nineties by opening a Boutique in Hastings, MN, and by teaching community courses on how to turn an artistic skill into a business. She has progressed into mixing the digital medium with abstract acrylic painting, creating colorful, textured pieces. Olson’s work appears in various exhibitions, including the upcoming “Art Attack” in the famous Northeast Minneapolis Arts District, which will go from November 2nd thru the 4th. T. Young joins us to talk about her journey as an artist and to update us on her projects in progress.
Listen all fall to hear artists from beginners to professionals in their own spaces.
