This week Radio Gallery spotlights the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association (NEMAA)and the 17th Annual Art-A-Whirl which is taking place in more than 50 locations throughout Northeast Minneapolis. Art-A-Whirl is a free event that is open to the public. It takes place annually in Northeast Minneapolis on the third weekend of May. Hours for the event are: Friday, May 18th from 5:00-10:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19th from Noon-8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20th from Noon-5:00 p.m. During the event you are able to tour more than 50 locations such as studio buildings, art galleries, homes, storefronts, businesses, and restaurants all in Northeast Minneapolis.
