Pat, who is going on 107 years old, says she was surprised that her difficulty breathing was caused by a heart problem, not her lungs.
This weekend saw the premier of the theatre department’s production of 7 Dwarfs, one of Minnesota playwright Kevin Kling’s first endevours. Not only was it the start of its week-long run here in the Rarig Center, a few floor below Radio K, but it is the first time the play will be returning home in 26 years. Matt Curtis spoke to some of the actors and Mr. Kling himself about the anticipated homecoming of 7 Dwarfs.
The Pavek Museum of Broadcasting in St. Louis Park focuses on the history of radio and TV broadcasting, especially in Minnesota. Steve Raymer, managing director of the museum since its founding in 1988, joined WTIP’s Buck Benson recently to talk about how the museum got started, what they collect, and their educational programs as well.
