Join Wayne and Mike in the second hour as they explore this unique music festival and all it has to offer such as music from Bourne and MacLeod, Etran Finatawa, and many more artists, plus an interview with Winnipeg Folk Festival Executive Director Tamara Kater. For the first time in KVSC's 43-year history, a live international broadcast is coming to you from the Winnipeg Folk Festival. With help from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund, KVSC has sent Wayne Bergerson, host of Frets on Saturday mornings and long-time KVSC deejay Mike Chouinard to Bird's Hill Provincial Park in Manitoba to provide live coverage Thursday through Saturday during the festival.
