Tonight we look ahead to next week, Tuesday November 28, when the 18-piece Twin Cities Latin Jazz Orchestra performs at Jazz Central Studios in Minneapolis. It’s got a growing book of tunes, a growing audience and growing stature. In 2017, the Twin Cities Latin jazz Orchestra opening the Saturday Night concert at the Twin Cities jazz Festival. Phil Nusbaum sat down with percussionist Mac Santiago to talk about the group’s show, Tuesday night November 28 at Jazz Central Studios in Minneapolis. They first were talking about the Latin Jazz Rhythm and the tune “Papiro.”
