The many faces of Sally Wingert

Actress Sally Wingert has appeared on Broadway and London stages and in major motion pictures and commercials, but she is probably best known as the first lady of Twin Cities theatre. Her storied career spans 30+ years on nearly every stage in Minnesota, most notably the Guthrie, where rapt audiences have laughed and cried and cheered her indelible characters. Comedy, absurdist comedy, tragedy, musicals, Wingert has done it all, even acting while buried up to her neck in sand! And through it all, this Duluth born native still calls Minnesota home. She shares some of her stories with producer Joe Sadowski and provides a rare look into what makes an actor an artist.
