Cory Healy is a local composer and drummer with a Great Melodic Sense whose jazz Mission is to Integrate Wide Influences into the style of his band, the Beautiful Sunshine Band. One of the things the band does well is “dark.” That’s why Phil Nusbaum first asked Cory where the band’s bright name came from.
