The Beat: Jesse Dermody- “The Song of the Bluejay”

Jesse Dermody lives in the woods north of Duluth in a cabin right next to his brother Ryan’s cabin. Together they are the band The Brothers Burn Mountain. Jesse is the drummer and composes some of the band’s music. The Beat is daily reminder that, in Minnesota poetry matters, and Minnesota poets prove that every day.
