Harvest Festival this Weekend in Bemidji

Minnesota Arts, Culture and History | Music | Arts | Culture | Northern Community Radio – KAXE & KBXE
Bonnie Lundorff owns and operates the Willow Wood Market just south of Bemidji. Willow Wood is a cozy quilt shop and wool studio that offers a variety of classes, supplies and materials for all things fiber art. In September, Bonnie hosts the annual Harvest Festival on the Willow Wood property. The Harvest Festival offers quilts, soups, desserts, soups arts, antiques and a whole lot more. Bonnie stopped by to tell us more what kinds of things people can expect this year. All proceeds from sales of wild rice soup at the festival will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Bemidji and four quilts will be donated to deserving veterans as part of the Quilts of Valor Foundation. The festival begins at 9am Saturday and can be found 4 miles south of Bemidji off US Highway 71, then 1/4 mile west on Hubbard County Road 9.
