Episode 27 Robben Ford

At the age of 10 Robben Ford started paying a saxophone after hearing a solo a member of his older brother’s performed at a high school concert. At 13, he started playing guitar although his primary instrument was the sax. Then after turning 22, he switched to guitar as his primary source and his legacy as a guitar player began. He has performed with and recorded for hundreds of artists such as Bonnie Raitt, Barbara Streisand, Charlie Musselwhite, KISS, Ruthie Foster, Jimmy Witherspoon and Rickie Lee Jones. His extensive discography, embraces more than 35 albums under his own name and with his various bands. He stated in an interview that playing music is the only job he’s ever known and you can tell he is a master in his field as a musician.
