Episode 26: Joe Bonamassa

Joe Bonamassa started playing guitar at the age of 4, and by age 12 was opening for BB King. Now 39 years old and 15 albums later, he is still going strong as an amazing musician. He has opened for, played along with, and or recorded with, his idol influences in the blues and blues/rock genre. Today we’re gonna hear from one of his most recent releases, “Blue of Desperation” which is a very good representation of his primary overall style- in spite of the fact Joe challenged his-self using different guitars and amps than usual, as well as two drummers. Joe said he decided he couldn’t just use the same playbook and needed to change-up things. He is well pleased with the outcome of this album.
