During the summer experienced and talented staff from the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN YMCAs, and other Y’s across the country journey out to Cheyenne River in teams of 2 or 3 to provide day activities for the children in the communities they visit.  Working in coordination with the Sioux YMCA, these individuals provide fun activities to the youth they visit. Today on Culture Clique, we visit with The Senior Program Director of The Winona YMCA, who recently was sent on an a two week trip visiting the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation. He will fill us in on what he experienced, gained, and lessons he brought back home. You’re listening to Culture Clique.
