Bluegrass and Bach a Winning Combination

Bach and bluegrass. The combination really works, as composer Carol Barnett and lyricist Marisha Chamberlain proved a few years ago when they created a bluegrass mass. Now, they’ve done it again, creating a Te Deum that will be performed by the Vocalessence chorus and ensemble singers and the Bluegrass group Monroe Crossing with the Minnetonka High School Treble Choir. The date for the Te Deum performance is November 10 at 8pm at Roseville Lutheran Church. Before the concert, at 7 is a Conversation with Carol Barnett and Monroe Crossing at 7.
