Project Coordinator – Ampers

The Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations (Ampers) is seeking a highly
organized, self-motivated, thorough, versatile, proactive individual to help ensure Ampers
and its member stations’ grants and other projects are being completed on time as well as within
grant budget and guidelines.

Duties will include:
– Help to gather and ensure the accuracy of information needed for reports
– Assist stations with the capacity building and resources needed to execute programs
funded by grants
– Coordinate administrative duties, maintain project documentation, and financial
tracking
– Ensure Ampers and its member stations’ projects are being completed on time and
within the budget
– Ensure projects are abiding by all grant guidelines and restrictions
– Monitor project progress and handle any problems that arise
– Utilize and/or create tools needed to monitor hours, progress, and expenditures
– Create a method to promote program sharing between Ampers stations
– Develop and execute a podcast distribution structure
– Help to develop and execute a social media and marketing plan
– Create and enforce production standards
– Ensure all grant funded programs are uploaded to Public Radio Exchange and archived
for future generations
– Provide Ampers Program Director with weekly updates
– Additional duties as assigned by Ampers Program Director and CEO

Required Qualifications:
-Four-year college degree
-Experience managing, organizing, and overseeing projects
– Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills
– Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Additional qualifications preferred but not required:
– Experience with audio editing and production
– Experience working for or with a radio station

Relationships:
– Candidate will report to the Ampers Program Director
Conditions of Employment:
– This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will provide his or her own
transportation related to any and all Ampers work. The position is open to all

must conduct this work in Minnesota and will be working from a home office.

Compensation:
– Salary will be commensurate with candidate’s experience
